John Adam Estes was born in Ripley, Tennessee in 1899, and was an influencial singer and songwriter at an early stage of the blues progress to national prominence in the US. Some os this songs have not only long been recognized as classics,but pieces such as " Milk Cow Blues" , "The girl I love She´s Got Long Curly Hair" , and Divin Duck blues , we are listening this song now, to a Cd. called Sleepy John Estes on The Chicago Blues Scene with Carey Bell, Sunnyland Slim & Jimmy Dawkins. In The Puinguine Guide of Blues, appear whit another name, but is the same, for us is a good album, not for the guide because give it only a two stars.......
