DENNIS BINDER

   Gracias a Juan Jose Caldara descubrimos a DENNIS  " LONG MAN " BINDER, pianista de IKE TURNER durante muchos años, tambien tiene grabados temas propios incluso llegó a grabar un album HOLE IN THAT JUG como protagonista que podéis ver mas abajo, en primer lugar un tema de la compilación  LONG MAN BLUES donde aparece Dennis junto con otros artistas.

At the age of 78, blues singer, pianist, and songwriter Dennis Binder finally has an album out under his own name, "Hole In That Jug." Binder recorded with Ike Turner over fifty years ago, and worked with many bands over the years after that, recording a few singles along the way. However, he decided to let go of performing and make a living as a bail bondsman a long time ago. Now retired from that career, Binder has returned to performing-- and, with his first full album under his own name, "Hole In That Jug" to recording. The album was mostly recorded in 2006, but it includes two wonderful cuts made in 1960 with the late, great saxophonist A. C. Reed.
