Patrick Smet is part of the UK Boogie Woogie family. He has been a regular at the festival, since it began and also attends the UK Boogie Woogie Club when he is able to.

He has enthusiasm and modesty in equal proportions and gives his all when playing. He has performed across Europe and also in the USA. Check out some great performances featured on Youtube

When you go to a "Festival", it's always great when they have special concerts/events in interesting places ... and the UK Festival certainly has lots of those!

Here Patrick Smet performs at the Watermill in Sturminster on a lovely Saturday morning. His first solo piece is based around "Pinetops Boogie". For the second, he is joined by his best buddy Eeco Rijken Rapp for some nice swing Boogie.

Hard to believe that last year this concert had to be cancelled because the Watermill was about 6 feet underwater when we had all the floods. But when the weather is this good, it's a beautiful place/venue!
