Nico Brina - Born: 29th of September 1969 / Biel-Bienne, Switzerland is a Boogie Woogie-, Blues- und Rock'n'Roll-pianist and singer.

1978 Nico falls in love with rock’n’roll music and starts playing the piano. The first few months he attends a piano school but then begins to learn the rock’n’roll all by himself. 1984 he co-founds the rock’n’roll band “Jive Boys“. 1988 he starts playing his first Blues’n’Boogie solo-performances. 1990 Brina raises his knowledge of music by visiting the Jazz School in Berne. Since 1993 he is accompanied by a drummer and playing more than 100 Boogie Woogie-Shows a year - all over the world, e.g. in Santo Domingo, (Dominican Republic), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Olympic Games (Athen, Greece)…1995 Nico Brina wins the “Prix Walo” (Swiss Award) as a “special act“. 1996 he becomes the fastest Boogie Woogie-player. Thanks to his “High Speed Boogie” he enters the Guinness Book of Records 1996.

2003 Brina releases “Born To Be A Boogieman“, his fifth CD. It is dedicated to his 20th anniversary on stage (2004). 2005 his latest DVD “happy ol’ boy“ is released. It contains clips, studio footage and excerpts of live performances.

Nico Brina - Va néixer: 29 de setembre 1969 / Biel-Bienne, Suïssa és un Boogie Woogie -, blues - und Rock'n'Roll -pianist i cantant.

1978 Nico s'enamora de la música rock i comença a tocar el piano. Els primers mesos que assisteix a una escola de piano, però després comença a aprendre el rock'n'roll per si mateix. 1984 co-funda la banda de rock'n'roll "Jive Boys". 1988 es comença a jugar els seus primers Blues'n'Boogie solistes-performances. 1990 Brina aixeca el seu coneixement de la música, visitant l'Escola de Jazz de Berna . Des de 1993 està acompanyada d'un baterista i jugant més de 100 Boogie Woogie -Mostra un any - a tot el món, per exemple a Santo Domingo , (República Dominicana), Almati (Kazakhstan), Jocs Olímpics ( Atenes , Grècia) ... 1995 Nico Brina guanya el "Prix Walo" (Premi de Suïssa) com una "llei especial". 1996 es converteix en el més ràpid Boogie Woogie-jugador. Gràcies a la seva "velocitat alta Boogie" entra en el llibre Guinness dels Rècords 1996.

2003 Brina ESTRENA "Born To Be A Boogieman", el seu cinquè CD. Està dedicat a la seva 20 aniversari a l'escenari (2004). 2005 el seu més recent DVD "feliç ol 'boy" s'allibera.
