TOM LEWER at UK BOOGIE WOOGIE FEST. 11th Edition

   El joven pianista británico TOM LEWER es uno de los artistas que participarán en la 11ª Edición del UK BOOGIE WOOGIE FESTIVAL . 

 

Tom Lewer (UK)

Hailing from Shaftesbury Dorset, and now living in London, Tom first discovered boogie woogie and blues in 2007 and has since then gone on to perform at numerous festivals and concerts both in the UK and internationally. Inspired by many different facets of the blues idiom from barrelhouse to rhythm and blues, Tom enjoys blending these styles to create both original compositions and his own interpretations of well known favourites.

Previously Tom has performed at the UK Boogie Woogie Festival, Exmouth Festival, La Roquebrou Boogie Woogie Festival and La Nuit Du Boogie (France), Boogie on the Hill (Switzerland) and many other events both in the UK and abroad. This has allowed him to meet and perform alongside some of the top names in the genre, including the legendary Bob Seeley, world class boogie woogie pianist and personal friend of Meade Lux Lewis.

Whether playing solo, with a band or as an accompanist, Tom manages to bring his own personality to the music and present a style that is both unique and deeply authentic.
