Troy Nahumko hit the road early, at the age of 17 he was already touring with the Lousiana-based Zydeco outfit Major Handy and the Zydeco Wolf Couchon and hasn't stopped since. At 18 he had already shared stages with the likes of the late great Jimmy Rogers and Buddy Guy. At the age of 20 he was picked up by New York City's Little Mike and the Tornadoes and it was with this band that he criss-crossed not only the continent, but the pond enough times to memorize most of the interstates and intercontinental flight routes. He recorded two albums with the band and often backed old friends of Mike's like ex-Muddy Walter's bandmates Pinetop Perkins and Paul Osher. Even though, 20 years later, he now calls Spain his home, musically he still follows those highways he learned so well on the left side of the Atlantic.
