KID ANDERSEN




Andersen se mudó a los Estados Unidos con 21 años de edad, en 2001, y se convirtió en una figura de la escena del blues de la costa oeste. Tocó  en la banda de Charlie Musselwhite y consiguió un Premio de la Música de BLUES (antes WC Handy Award) al mejor álbum de blues contemporáneo para Delta de Charlie Musselwhite Hardware.  Cuando el little Charlie Baty se retiró de las giras, Andersen tomó su lugar como guitarrista en los Nightcats, y se formó el nuevo nombre de Rick Estrin y los Nightcats. Andersen también ha realizado extensas giras con Elvin Bishop en la Red Dog Speaks Tour. 

Ha tocado con numerosos guitarristas , entre ellos Kirk Fletcher que recientemente estuvo actuando en nuestro País. ( Ver videos ) 

Christoffer "Kid" Andersen (born January 15, 1980) is a Norwegian blues guitarist.

Andersen moved to the United States as a 21-year-old in 2001, and became a figure on the West Coast blues scene. He played in Charlie Musselwhite's band and got a Blues Music Award (formerly W.C. Handy Award) for best contemporary blues album for Charlie Musselwhite's Delta Hardware.[1] When Little Charlie Baty retired from touring, Andersen took his place as guitarist in the Nightcats, and the new name of Rick Estrin & the Nightcats was formed. Andersen has also done extensive touring with Elvin Bishop on the Red Dog Speaks Tour. He is married to American Idol finalist Lisa Leuschner. They currently reside in San Jose, California where Andersen is CEO of Greaseland Studios. 

In 2013, Andersen was nominated for a Blues Music Award in the 'Gibson Guitar' category.In 2014, he was nominated for a Blues Music Award in the 'Best Instrumentalist – Guitar' category.
