TED CLAIRE SNAPPY BITS BAND
Ted Claire was a vaudeville performer who was touring the Orpheum curcuit when these recordings were made. Charles A. Matson's was the musical director of the band but his last name was misspelled on these records as Watson. Besides these two songs on the Gennett label Matson's other records were released under the names of Matson's Lucky Seven which was recorded for the Paramount label in January of 1924 and Charles A. Mason's Creole Serenaders which was recorded for Edison in August of 1923.
