LAVENDORE ROUGE

Como representante del Reino Unido actuará en el 8Th EUROPEAN BLUES CHALLENGE, os presentamos una breve reseña y un par de videos del grupo LAVENDORE ROUGE

LaVendore Rogue (pronounced LAV, as in ‘toilet’, END, as in ‘not the beginning’, ORE, as in ‘iron’)

Nobody knows what the name means, but what is clear is that LaVendore Rogue is one of the most exciting bands to emerge on the UK Roots scene for many years.

The band consists of three ex-Hokie Joint members; multiple-British Blues Award nominees and winners JoJo Burgess on vocals, Joel Fisk on guitar and Stephen “Cupsey” Cutmore on drums, as well as Rob “Tank” Barry on bass and Warren Lynn on keyboards.

Featuring three former members of much-missed roots rockers Hokie Joint, LaVendore Rogue are a force of nature, who combine the swagger of the early Rolling Stones, the attitude of Dr Feelgood and the horror of the Walking Dead. Blues noir is officially a thing.

Ubicació actual
Colchester, Essex

LaVendore Rogue is the latest project from songwriting partners JoJo Burgess and Joel Fisk. With a working history spanning nearly a decade, Burgess and Fisk have come a long way from bedroom rehearsals in dingy accommodation in their adopted home town of Colchester.
As the surviving remnants of highly praised alt-roots-rockers Hokie Joint, this pair, along with drummer Stephen 'Cupsey' Cutmore have spent the best part of a decade on the road together, touring every club and festival that the UK and mainland Europe had to offer them
