“Incredible maturity, with a unique and refreshing approach”
Blues Matters!

“Arguably the most talented guitarist in London. Paul’s sound is completely unique and fuses a number of genres to create his very own version of the Blues.”

"...looked like the future of British blues – he’s a great guitarist, a fine singer and the guy can move. The blues lives."

Paul grew up in New Zealand, where he has had plenty of time and opportunity to develop his impressive guitar skills and a unique take on the roots music he grew up with. Since relocating to London, Paul has quickly become a 'first-call' guitarist for a growing number of blues acts in the capital, thanks to his exemplary skill, feel and tone.

“...you can not deny the strength of Paul as a musician, and I'm not talking about his sublime guitar-playing only. The man owns one of the most magnificent voices I've heard on CD this year. In a number of songs he even made me think about Jamie Cullum, the young million-selling artist, who personally is responsible for the rebirth of jazz in the UK.”

The Paul Garner Band is an original, progressive, guitar/organ blues trio. They put out a gritty, funky sound to back Paul's intelligent and cliché-free original blues songs. Individually and collectively the band exhibit the highest standards of musicianship, and are one of the few groups on the scene today with the talent and vision to push the blues into new territory while maintaining a strong connection with the roots.

The Paul Garner Band perform regularly at London venues, such as Ain't Nothin' But blues bar.

The members are:

Paul Garner: guitar and vocals
Claudio Corona: keyboards
Jason Ribeiro: drums

Career highlights include:
Opening for Jools Holland to a crowd of 2000+ at the Rhythm On The Thames event in London.
National TV and Radio appearances in Australia and New Zealand and airplay on BBC Radio 2.
Festival appearances in UK, France, Australia and New Zealand including main stage at the Blues At Bardies Festival (France) alongside Matt Schofield & Ian Siegal, and at the Montana National Jazz Festival (NZ).
“Hopefully blues clubs up and down the country will be booking him when he gets back from his tour of Japan because, on the evidence of 'Love vs Blues', Paul Garner certainly deserves to be heard by a wide audience.”
