Back Bay Betty is a Los Osos, CA five-piece dance band known for creative original music and covers by classic and contemporary rock, blues, soul and jazz artists. Local favorite Linda Martin fronts the group from her keyboard with a bold, soulful voice. Accompanying Linda is singer-songwriter Ron Pagan on guitar, keys and vocals with Eric Stever on saxophone and vocals. Rounding out the rhythm section are Mark Walters on bass guitar and vocals and Don Utterback on drums and vocals. The band travels with their very own multi-instrumentalist sound man Matt Vargo.  Back Bay Betty performs at local music venues, county wide concert series, wineries, private parties and more and can tailor an evening to fit any audience.

Back Bay Betty is an energetic five piece dance band from Morro Bay, CA that has a diverse rock/blues/soul repertoire including many originals. The group's members are Linda Martin on keyboard and vocals, Casey Rodgers on lead guitar and vocals, Johnny Johnson on harmonica and vocals, Mark Notzka on bass guitar and vocals, and Carl Dybowski on drums. They cover tunes by artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Rolling Stones, Linda Ronstadt, Johnny Lang, Muddy Waters, Norah Jones, T-Bone Walker, Etta James, Paul Butterfield, Heart, Delbert McClinton and many others that you won't hear covered by other bands. Back Bay Betty's dynamic energy on stage is infectious and is guaranteed to get everyone out of their seats and onto the dance floor.

Back Bay Betty has amassed a large fan base and plays regularly at venues all over San Luis Obispo County including D'Anbino Cellars, the Fuel Dock Saloon, Cambria Pines Lodge, The Shell Café, Castoro Cellars, Morro Bay Music Festival, SLO Blues Society events, etc. Here are a few endorsements :
