WELCOME! to the artist web site ! http://www.lorneentress.com/
You've found the Lorne Entress website. My job description as a musician is not easily defined and I'm not a big fan of self-promotion but here goes. I've produced over twenty-five albums for artists as diverse as Lori McKenna and Ronnie Earl. I've drummed for many folks, including Big Al Anderson, Tracy Grammer, Susan Tedeschi, Junior Wells, Erin McKeown, Christine Ohlman, and Freedy Johnston. I've mixed records that included artists such as Sheryl Crow, Tom Jones, Mark Erelli, Bettye Levette, Rosanne Cash, and Stephen Stills. I sing and play guitar, hosting a monthly residency called The Sideman Series, with guests such as Duke Levine, Kevin Barry, and Marco Giovino. I've authored two published music books. I run a recording studio called Harmony St. in Tolland CT, doing everything from engineering simple recording tasks to full record production. On records I've sung, played keyboards, mandolin, guitars, and of course drums and percussion. (For a fairly incomplete list of Lorne Entress album credits click HERE.) I compose music and I'm currently creating a music library. If you think my musical skills and experience might be of help to you give me a call at (860) 983-3190 or email me at lentress@cox.net and lets talk.
