MAIN STREET BLUES
The Main Street Blues Band are one of the top electric R&B acts to emerge from the East of Scotland in recent years. The band plays up-tempo electric blues with a broad range of R 'n B and funk influences. The band have also added a range of acoustic blues and roots tracks into a number of the full theatre shows.
Main Street Blues are currently touring their new tribute show to the Three Kings of the Blues (BB King, Albert King and Freddy King and features their expanded line-up, including their new Horn Section (Sax/ Trumpet and backing vocals)
The band regularly perform around the Scottish and North of England Blues festival circuit for the last 8 years and have played "SELL OUT" shows at the Edinburgh international Jazz and Blues festival every year since 2012 as well as playing the Main Stage at the Tartan Heart Festival at Belladrum in 2014 and ICE HOUSE Stage in 2019, with their 2014 set still being broadcast by BBC Alba.
Main Street Blues have an excellent reputation for putting on a top class, exciting & energetic live show and have supported many international touring bands, such as Wishbone Ash, Caravan, Paul Jones and the Blues Band, Hot Chocolate, King King, Stan Webb and many, many more.

The band plays venues of all sizes from small pub gigs to larger music venues, including the HMV Picture House in Edinburgh with its 1,000 capacity. The Band regularly performe at many notable venues such as the Edinburgh Jam House, Edinburgh Jazz Bar, Glasgow Renfrew Ferry, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Brunton Theatre in Musselburgh and Regal Theatre in Bathgate. In addition, the band has appeared at many Scottish music Festivals, including Edinburgh International Jazz and Blues, Fife Music Festival, Darvel, Callander, Montrose, Arbroath and Culros (Supporting CARAVAN)

Music played is drawn from a wide range of influences from the older blues legends such as BB King, Freddie King to more modern blues performers like Sean Costello, Bill Perry, Mike Zito, Warren Haynes and Robert Ward.
