CHRISTINA JACCARD

 

Born in Zurich and raised in a very musical family, Christina Jaccard broke off training as an opera singer as a young woman to search for her very own voice. She learned different musical languages and finally found her home in blues, soul, jazz and gospel. This deep connection and great passion for black American music characterize her musical style and expression. Christina Jaccard lives her music without compromise. She seamlessly pairs honesty and sensitivity with irresistible power and charisma. She always remains true to herself and does what she does out of conviction: express herself through her music, reach people and inspire the audience.

Despite her deep roots in soul blues and gospel, Christina Jaccard has remained musically multifaceted. She always creates space for excursions into other genres and for the realization of exciting projects.
