Robbin Kapsalis and Vintage started their incredible rise by igniting the Washington D.C. music scene in 2013, and since then they’ve been featured artists across North America from Memphis, TN to the Kennedy Center’s New Year’s Eve Celebration.
They’ve become much sought-after performers on the U.S. national festival circuit, with Robbin Kapsalis also being much in demand in the UK and Europe. Most recently she was chosen to fill a prestigious slot with The Living Legends Of Chicago Blues Tour alongside Grammy nominated Blues Legend John Primer and Emmy Award Winner blues harmonica master Billy Branch She had performed at the legendary 100 Club, London, the Banana Peel, Belgium, and the Blues Alive Festivals in both the Czech Republic and Poland.
Their heralded front woman, Robbin, was born on the Southside of Chicago and soaked up the sounds of that legendary blues city before moving to be raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Featuring a powerful and commanding voice that is steeped in the greasy and dirty but still emotionally effecting side of blues and soul, Robbin has all the understanding of the classic phrasing, textures, rhythm and attitude of the music.
She adds something fresh and sassy to the mix too - so is very much rooted in our time. And as a charismatic front woman, she is second to none with an energy level that is unrivalled in the blues scene today.
