This song is based on various American blues recordings, including Blind Boy Fuller's 1939 "I Want Some Of Your Pie" and Brown McGhee's 1947 "Custard Pie Blues." It's the first song on the double album Physical Graffiti.

Como sabéis el grupo LED ZEPPELIN basó casi todos sus éxitos en temas tradicionales del Blues clásico ( habréis visto mas de uno en SENTIR EL BLUES ) en esta ocasión os presentamos el tema que con el título de CUSTARD PIE aparece en su album PHYSICAL GRAFITTI .Podéis oir la versión del album ; la que bastante más tarde hizo JIMMY PAGE con los BLACK CROWES , y la original de su creador BLIND BOY FULLER que sacó con el título I WANT SOME OF YOUR PIE . así como la versión de SONNY TERRY Y BROWNNIE Mc GHEE que tambien le modificaron el título llamandola CUSTARD PIE BLUES .
