The Baton Rouge Blues Festival is kicking off with Bluesman Kenny Neal on Friday, April 19, and this free four-stage festival keeps the music alive until Sunday evening.
Featuring Elvin Bishop & Charlie Musselwhite, Kenny Neal, Black Joe Lewis, Jackie Venson, Eli Paperboy Reed, and so many more, this festival delivers everything the blues offers. The BR Blues Fest takes place outdoors in the middle of downtown Baton Rouge near the Mississippi River. The full-scale event includes four stages, live musician interviews, over 40 artisan vendors, two dozen Louisiana food vendors, a Kids Corner, and three exclusive VIP areas. |
