Barcelona Big Blues Band feat. LADYVA — Boogie-Woogie Virtuoso with Global Reach
Pianist and singer LADYVA is one of the foremost contemporary ambassadors of boogie-woogie. Signed to Universal in 2011, her career combines technical virtuosity, overwhelming energy, and a stage presence that has made her a popular figure beyond the specialized circuit, with strong media visibility.
Her digital impact is undeniable: she has over 200 million views on YouTube and hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, reflecting a proposal that connects tradition and spectacle. She has performed at the main European boogie-woogie festivals and at large-scale events alongside international show business stars.
Highlights of her career include performances in London and Glasgow in tribute to Jerry Lee Lewis (2015), her participation in the Cigar Awards in London with Burt Reynolds, Charlie Sheen, and Jonathan Ross (2016), and several invitations from Jools Holland to the Boogie Woogie & Blues Spectacular, sharing the stage with Hugh Laurie. Os ofrecemos unas fotillas y unos videos de la actuación en el primer set de LADYVA esta tarde en el JAMBOREE JAZZ CLUB ,acompañada de la B4 - LA BARCELONA BIG BLUES BAND , liderada por IVAN KOVACEVIC . Nunca hasta hoy habíamos visto la sala 3 del JAMBOREE JAZZ CLUB de Barcelona abarrotada hasta su límite de un público muy variado, con muchos jóvenes , niños incluso.... la cual cosa nos alegra de verdad. Ni que decir tiene que se ha disfrutado con la actuación de la artista de Suiza con fuertes lazos en la República Dominicana ( habla un español perfecto ... ) que ha ofrecido un repertorio muy variado que va desde Muddy Waters ( My Mojo Working)..... hasta Jerry Lee Lewis, pasando por Elvis Presley , sin descartar sus propias creaciones y otras piezas de maestros del Boogie Woogie. Mas de lo que nosotros os podamos decir, mejor que veáis los videos y os forméis vuestra propia opinión . De nombre propio Vanessa , LADYVA , es una artista reconocida mundialmente principalmente por sus participaciones en eventos dedicados al BOOGIE WOOGIE en donde siempre destacó con actuaciones de gran nivel. El cocktail explosivo con la BARCELONA BIG BLUES BAND , nos dió como resultado una Hot-Sessión de Boogie Woogie, Swing, Blues y Rock'n'Roll , que como hemos dicho anteriormente hizo las delicias del personal que con fuertes aplausos durante y al final logró que artista y orquesta les obsequiara con un bis celebrado con gran efusión . Otra GRAN noche para enmarcar en la sala barcelonesa que seguramente pasará inadvertida por los medios , sea como fuere ...... siempre os quedará SENTIR EL BLUES TIME !
