 En muchas ocasiones nos encontramos con músicos que son poco conocidos y que encontrar información de sus backgrounds es muy difícil por no decir imposible, este podría ser uno de los casos el pianista DOT RICE., que tocó principalmente con Scrapper Blackwell , aunque tambien tiene ( imagen ) algunos albumes de BOOGI WOOGIE en los cuales aparece en alguna pista ............................... 

Dot Rice (Dorothy "Dot" Rice) was an active American blues and boogie-woogie piano player during the 1930s. She is best known for her studio recordings in Chicago, notably accompanying legendary guitarist and singer Scrapper Blackwell on classic sides like "Wayback Blues", "Alley Sally Blues", and her piano solo track "Texas Stomp".Musical Style and RecordingsPlayed in the traditional Chicago-style blues and boogie-woogie traditions.Recorded in Chicago on July 8, 1935, backing Scrapper Blackwell.Contributed to vintage piano blues compilations alongside greats like Albert Ammons, Meade "Lux" Lewis, and Pinetop Smith.Key Tracks
